Risk Disclosure

Cryptocurrency investing carries significant risk. Please read this disclosure carefully so you understand the risks before you invest on CryptoFXB.

Last updated: June 2026

This Risk Disclosure explains the principal risks of using CryptoFXB (the "Platform") and investing in cryptocurrency. It is not exhaustive and does not describe every risk. By using the Platform, you confirm that you understand and accept these risks. If anything here is unclear, seek independent professional advice before investing.

1. General Investment Risk

All investing involves risk. The value of any investment can rise or fall, and you may not get back the amount you originally invested. You should only invest funds that you can afford to commit and, if necessary, lose without affecting your standard of living or financial obligations.

2. Cryptocurrency Volatility

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile. Prices can move sharply and unpredictably over short periods due to market sentiment, liquidity, news, regulatory developments, and other factors. Large gains and large losses can both occur quickly, and historical price movements are not a reliable indicator of future performance.

3. Possible Loss of Capital

You could lose some or all of the funds you invest. There is no protection against investment losses, and adverse market movements can reduce the value of your holdings to zero. You should not invest more than you are prepared to lose.

4. No Guaranteed Returns

Any return figures shown for managed investment plans are targets, not guarantees. They describe what a strategy aims to achieve over its lock-in period; they are not promised, assured, or fixed outcomes. Actual results may be higher or lower than the target, and a plan may not achieve its target at all. No statement on the Platform should be read as a promise of a particular return.

5. Lock-In and Liquidity Risk

Managed investment plans apply a set lock-in period during which your allocated funds may not be available for withdrawal until the plan matures. You should be confident that you will not need access to those funds for the duration of the lock-in period. Cryptocurrency markets can also experience periods of reduced liquidity that may affect your ability to buy or sell at a desired price or time.

6. Regulatory and Legal Risk

The legal and regulatory treatment of cryptocurrencies is evolving and varies by jurisdiction. Changes in laws, regulations, or their interpretation could adversely affect the value, transferability, or legality of cryptocurrencies, or your ability to use the Platform. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to you.

7. Technology, Custody, and Security Risk

Cryptocurrency relies on blockchain networks, software, and internet infrastructure that may be subject to outages, bugs, congestion, or attack. Transactions sent to an incorrect address or on an unsupported network may be irreversible and unrecoverable. While we use measures such as mandatory two-factor authentication, email verification, and withdrawal review to help protect accounts, no security system is perfect, and you share responsibility by safeguarding your credentials and 2FA codes.

8. Market and Third-Party Data Risk

Prices, charts, and other market data shown on the Platform may be sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You should not rely on this data as the sole basis for an investment decision, and we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on third-party data.

9. Not Personalized Advice

Information provided on the Platform is general in nature and does not constitute personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. It does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs. You should consider whether any investment is appropriate for you and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.

10. Suitability and Investing Within Your Means

Before investing, consider your own financial circumstances, investment experience, and risk tolerance. Only commit funds that you can comfortably leave invested for the full lock-in period and could hold through significant market swings. Diversify where appropriate and never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
